30 Fixtures for Title destiny? Ramsey Thoughts............

G4L_Harry (3 March 2010)

Cesc4, {one of our forumties not the real one} gives his view on the forthcoming battle for the title and concludes with his views on the Ramsey injury.............

Over to you Cesc4...............

This article will look at all the remaining 30 fixtures that Arsenal, United, Chelsea have to play and I will give my view on Ramsey’s injury.

Firstly Man United. I’m looking at their home fixtures and they have some TOUGH teams to play admittedly they are all at home. Their remaining home games are against Fulham, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Stoke. That’s very interesting. They will definitely drop points against some of them you would think except stoke probably considering how poor they are on their travels. United play Liverpool on the 21st March. Rio and Vidic vs a fully fit Torres will be interesting considering how Torres has killed that pair in past. Lets hope Liverpool can get on a bit of a run now, get some confidence and stay away from injuries! United’s away fixtures are quite easy if we're honest. They play relegation teams Wolves, Bolton, Blackburn, Sunderland - lucky or what! So to me it looks like United’s home form will be key if they want to win the premiership because their away fixtures look 3points nailed on. Then again there are no easy games in this league right?

Chelsea’s next few games seem quite routine, but then they play Aston Villa at home 27th march and then United away on the 3rd April and those are consecutive fixtures...other than that their only tough games are pool and spuds which are both away interestingly!

Our toughies are Birmingham, Spurs, Man City & Fulham. Fulham will be tough as that game could potentially decide the title so you would assume players will be nervous. Let’s hope Fulham get to the Europa League final, that way they may be a bit distracted but they are a good team. They’ve beaten United already this season and were unlucky to lose to Chelsea.
To me it looks like Liverpool & Spurs will have a major say in title race. Liverpool still have to play the top 2. Spurs play us and Chelsea at home then Man United away those are consecutive too! So those two teams will have a big say in title race you would think.

While I wrote this I said consecutively quite a lot:
Chelsea play Aston Villa and Man united consecutively.
Man United play Fulham and Liverpool consecutively and then in mid April they play Man City away and Spurs at home consecutively. So whoever does well in those run of 2/3 tough games in a row will win the premiership I think...

I’ll finish the article on Ramsey and my view on the tackle. On a side note how amazing was Cesc on Saturday? He started the game quite sluggishly but after Ramsey’s injury he just took the game into his own hands. Loved the way he told Pulis 2 shut his mouth, the guy just shouts for 90mins non stop was gr8 2 see Cesc give it to him he didn’t like it too much either which made it all the sweeter. Loved the goal celebrations of the whole team, especially Vermaelen and Sol’s reaction to Vermaelen’s goal. Was lovely to see Cesc tap his ankle 3 times when he scored. 2 years ago Gallas sat in the middle of the pitch and this yr Cesc gathered the whole team around 4 a huddle what a contrast! Reckon Cesc is off to Barca after that performance on Saturday? no bloody chance!
I’m tired of hearing what a nice guy Shawcross & Martin Taylor are. The fact of the matter is they have injured two of our players and they were/are out for a long time. I’m a nice guy but if I drink drive and run over one of you in court can I use the excuse ‘I’m sorry judge I’m not that sort of driver, I didn’t even want to drink it was just my friends who forced me, I feel terrible for the guy whose dead’. Well a similar situation can be applied to Ramsey. Shawcross went in hard on Ramsey because 'arsenal are a soft touch, go in hard they don’t like it rough, let him know your there etc etc' these are the common beliefs amongst every1 which explains why we're on the rough end of such tackles. No way in hell would Shawcross have gone in that hard on Rooney. He would have realised I’ve lost control of the ball and would've probably have tried nicking the ball of Rooney. Lets not forget Shawcross has a history doing these tackles. He broke Jeffers ankle in 2007 and injured Adebayor’s ankle at Stoke last year when the ball was out of play. What I don’t like is the way he went full pelt into Ramsey. Where was the need 2 go in that hard? Was Ramsey in a dangerous area of the pitch? Could he have committed some damage in that sort of area? Sadly the damage was done and the damage was done to Ramsey.

All at G4L pass their best wishes onto Aaron, come back soon son...........

Thanks Cesc, where do you all think the title will be won or lost? Leave your views on that and leave your thoughts on Aaron as well.

hi Cesc, great run in there and kudos to u. i believe the title is coming to emirates, why? because we have a good chance to stay unbeaten for the rest of the games.
And for Ramsey, its a pity its him and a pity for it to be an Arsenal player! I wish him a speedy recovery!
Hi dial, Long time..... Let them write us off at there own peril!
