City long term target is Wenger!

G4L_Harry (21 December 2009)

According to newspapers this morning {lets be honest, they tend to make it up}, even though City will unveil their new manager Mancini this afternoon, who was supposedly their second choice after Hiddink, their overall long term target is our very own Arsene Wenger.

Understandbly who wouldnt want Wenger as their Manager??? the only supporters that could say that they didnt want him are probably the red half of Manchester, who have old red nose.........

Any club that did get Wenger, would change remarkably and would end up getting transformed from bottom to top and turned inside out. It would be rebuilt with strong long lasting foundations with a considered view to the future, no stone would be left unturned.

Values, standards and a footballing philosphy that is revered around the globe would be ingrained within the club, others would take note and try to follow suit. And annoyingly, just about every big club would be linked to him, but when you have one of the best, you will always have the jealousy of the others who want what you have.............

But fortunately for us, we have Wenger and he has already rebuilt our club with solid foundations and has got all our players from the 1st team to the youth team playing a brand of football that most other teams strive to match or just dream about, ok its not on show always, but would you swap this magnificent manager for another?

I wouldnt and will never understand the ones who want rid of Wenger, none of us are perfect and we all make mistakes, but with the money City can offer, be careful what you wish for, lets support him and enjoy this brand of successful football wenger has given us so far, he nearly got turned by Madrid after some of the abuse he got last season, but he stayed to complete his project and truly leave us with a lasting legacy, the trophies will return soon...........................Believe............

"One Arsene Wenger, there is only one Arsene Wenger and he is ours, so City and Madrid.......do one......"

I have it on very good authority that this is a completely made up story. As in one of the journalists told my son who works for the rag in question, that they made it up.

Which is in my opening paragraph, but lets be honest they probably considered it, and the point of the article is to point out to those who want rid of him and think he has taken us as far as he can, others would snap our hands off................

Ps to those anti AKB, I am not a member of that section, I just dont see at the moment anyone out there who could do any better with the finances given in support........

I think it is rubbish and they will not get wenger in a million years.

It's insane. He isn't going to City. Very Clearly.

I don't think how much money Wenger has been given is important. The people who want him out are morons. We're the safest club in the country and AW has made it that way. We're a sound business with a very attractive produce.

Enough of this nonsense. We're so lucky to have our manager and people want him out. It's ridiculous. If people had their way we'd have sold Song and Denilson last year and we'd have Veloso in to replace them. BE careful what you wish for.

And for the record, Arsene does know best.

Whereby I doubt he will, as I said in the article, but i wonder mememe, have you a crystal ball?

As I said in the article and IG said, some people should be careful what they wish for, Arsene wenger is a legend before his time..............
