I think Bendtner has improved this season without doubt.however like Walcott and Clichy it will take time for him to get to match fitness following a long lay off.Remember Fabregas last season. So don't expect fireworks from him this is why Wenger should have bought a striker in Jan

Totally agree H44, massive mistake that he didnt get someone in, what if bendtner gets injured? Van Persie is not back until mid april, what have we got?
The rumours cirling are that he tried to get sorenson in on the last day and possibly a striker on loan, but leaving it to the last day is daft........Nearly men in the window and the league..........
As soon as he stated in december he was out for a striker, he then literally the next day started retracting his comments, it was obvious then he would not get no one in...........

Let Wenger continue to build our club and remember that disappointments only sweeten victory.

leaving it tll the last minute makes me suspect it wasn't serious..if it were we would've been in in the opening hours.

I believe it's up for Wenger with his lack of ambition, his blind faith in Alumina,Walcott,Denilson,Clichy and other deadwood we will struggle to finish in the top four and that's down to Wenger's obsession and blind faith in a policy that will never work in the PL.
We aren't good enough and Wenger prefers to make money for the board rather than invest in the team and make us potential title winners but sadly we are in the same bracket as Liverpool,Villa,Citeh and Spurs

Deadwood? Clichy, give me a break............Walcott, needs time to get back from his injuries........Denilson, poor at moment, but he was a good stand in when cesc was injured last year, good squad player........Almunia. Agreed.............

2or 3 players short thats it and if RVP was fit ....ummm...............Not arguing there is issues, but it is not drastic and we are certainly above that other crap you mention...............

Let Wenger continue to build our club and remember that disappointments only sweeten victory.

The defeat was no surprise to me ,to be fair we didn't play too bad, just passed the ball to death instead of shooting .Walcott had an awful game and yes he needs games but this one against Chelsea wasn't the game for him.Poor mistake AW.We all knew Drogba would score so i would had played Campbell.Yes Harry we are 2 or 3 players short, but we say this every year, and you know what we'll be saying it again this time next year as well.We play pretty football which is unfortunately not always winning football and thats the problem.I agree with Looneygonner AW time is up and would hope the takeover is sooner rather than later.Jose Mourinho wants a return to the premiership so he would be the obvious replacement.I know alot of members will disagree ,and still think AW can still produce the goods ,well the next 18 mths wll show who is right

I know it's a tough time now, and with all these matches coming thick and fast, and all. Well, all I can say is we saw what the best thing AW can do now is. He picks the team, but really, it's so disappointing the players aren't finishing those chances.

I can't say we played badly to be honest. We did have a few chance and if Bendtner started I could see some of those fantastic crosses ending up in the back of the net. I'm just so anxious to see Bendtner start. I really was surprised when he was placed on the bench and Walcott was given the start.

Jose Mourinho would never be the choice of the board. They know the risks of getting him in. Malcolm Glazer tried to do it and was nearly thrown over by the fans, and if Hill-Wood, Kroenke or even Usmanov does it, you can be sure of a huge uproar.

There really isn't much of a difference, this season and last season's Arsenal, but we are doing much better against the smaller teams. I sound really optimistic and I have my reasons for that. Happy days are coming soon, and you'd better believe it.

Next match is against Pool, and I'm sure that's where the revival starts. Believe in this team, for we know exactly how good they are.

Come on you gunners.

The most disgusting thing I have ever seen is my Avatar. Take a look.

I think it's come to the point where Bendtner starts showing his ability. I was actually pretty shocked to hear Bendtner has had 6 goals and 3 assists in his last 6 matches. Wow. I like Arshavin and all but really, some of those simple chances should be put away, especially with a player of his quality.
